Dear Followers and Well-wishers of H.H. Dhirasanta dasa Goswami Maharaja!

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

For those who are not aware we would like to inform you all that Dhirasanta dasa Goswami Maharaj is now a Diksha Guru. 

On May 25th 2018 - the most auspicious month of Purushottama, the day of Padmini Ekadasi; he received approval from the GBC/Guruship Committee to be a Diksha Guru and give initiations.

On July 28 during Vaisnava Summer Festival in Lithuania he has given initiation to his first 3 disciples.

We his followers are naturally delighted by this turn of event in our life, especially since we have waited so long for some news. 

In a letter to us Maharaj acknowledged our concerns: 

“Some of you have been waiting up to ten years for some news, and I have been aware of how concerned you have been because of very little progress. Your loyalty to wait so long has been very encouraging to me, and I can understand you are therefore very sincere devotees.

This decision means you can now approach your local authorities to receive their approval and blessings to accept initiation.  

I hope this news will inspire you further in your relationship with me.”

The new initiates are Mukunda Murari dasa, Vrindavanisvari devi dasi, and Visaka Priya devi dasi. During the talk Maharaja gave before the ceremony began, he mentioned how he felt giving his first initiations. Here is what he said, “I don’t know who is more nervous today the initiates or the initiator. I feel like a child a beginner. I, therefore, take shelter of first Srila Prabhupada, I take refuge of all my senior Godbrothers who have done this service for so many years, and I seek shelter of all of you who are present, to please bless me so that I can carry out this service to assist Lord Caitanya in His mission.
